The anniversary of my Fatherland - the USSR

90 years ago, on the 30th of December1922 the greatest state in the history of the planet Earth was created - the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics.
At present it is temporarily disbanded — but it will not last forever.
That is what we can fix up by our united efforts.
And that is what I wish to all of us in the next few years.

Happy New Year!!!

No wind and there some ice on the water in the old tub laying in my yard!

Of course, it will be higher during the day up to some 10C(50F) but this is a fact.

The first "hello" is said by the coming Russian winter, which is predicted to be very very frosty!)))

We'll see.

Geneve winter 2011-12

Due to the peak in the atvivity of our Sun the coming winter 2013 will be very snowy. "The nearest winter, in connection with the maximally active Sun, will be snowy and can last up to the mid-May: due to the global temperatures rising and ice melting in the area of the Arctic Ocean, the Earth atosphere contains more water, that precipitates in the form of snow", - according to the opinion of an expert meteorologist of the Geophysics Institute of the Ukraine Anatoly Prokopenko. According to his forecast thewinter 2013 will be followed by a very hot summer with the temperatures up to +40C.

The big bisnesses take into account the forecasts of the meteorologists, for example Gazprom frightens his clients from Europe and Ukraine by the frosty weather. "The winter 2012-2013 will be frostier then the last one. Such weather conditions will lead to the increased gas consumption" - stated the rep of the Russian gas monopolist Serghey Kupryanov. "We are getting ready to the fact that the coming winter will be much colder than usual, so we'll have to deliver greater volumes of gas during the peak cold spells", - he said.

Ho-ho-ho, girls and boys!!

Get ready for the winter, it is just round the corner!!!

At the moment in my location, T=+ 10C, broken clouds at 240 meters, no precipitation, wind at 100, 4 mps

I am NOT a tolerant person. At all.

It is absolutely clear that Anders Behring Breivik, the unfamous Norvegian terrorist, who has killed a lot of people, is nothing but a dangerous idiot. I am not a shrink, but I do think that the disease he has may be called a lunacy, which for the moment is not considered as an illness by the mental medicine. Let's say the disease he has is a voluntary self reprogramming fot some abstract values. But I want to attract your attention to the fact that it is not only Breivik who is affected by such a disease. It is, actually, a manifestation of superstition, of fanatism. Breivik does not consider himself guilty!! The people killed by him are just broken eggs when you try making an omelette...

What is it Breivik wanted to prove, when committing his crime? That Europe goes on the suicidial way of multiculturarism, way of tolerance abundance, etc. Frankly speaking, I agree with him in some aspects of it... The European Union regards in some way pervertly the issues of humanism and human rights. And the Breivik case trial is a supplementary proof to that. WHY THE F**K HE IS GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK PUBLIC IN THAT TRIAL??? Why? He is guilty for the deaths of people - it is clear like a day. He does not deny it. more than that, when the police guards took him on the place of crime, they could kill him there like a rabid dog, as it is often done to the terrorists (wherever they are) in Afganistan, France lately or Chechenya. Instead of making that, a satiated idealist-terrorist throw the shit on the fan by his words and into the heads of some hudred thousands idiots like him!!! Bravissimo, Europe, I applause you in standing! :-(

I will also underline that sometimes even the most incredible and the most pervert ideas find the support in the masses of people. Breivik is a virus carrier, filled with such ideas. Despite the causes and motives of his criminal actions, he is a bloody murderer, who has killed dozens of people. This is a fact! He should have been shot dead long ago or sentenced to the life term. But he is now an orator, broadcasting non-stop over the whole world... Given the fact that he has a perfect self-control, it is no doubt that after this "trial talk-show" his terrorist ideas will find more and more adepts. I do NOT understand such a humanism or such a tolerastia...

The RF Constitution has been violated in Astrakhan. Astrakhan fights back!

900 miles southward from Moscow, in the city of Astrakhan, the supporters of mayoral candidate Oleg Shein encountered the electoral fraud on March 4. Mr. Shein's case has not faded away - indeed, it's fast growing nationally, becoming the biggest rallying point for an anti-Kremlin opposition that has spent the last month struggling to rediscover its direction. On March 16, Shein announced a hunger strike to protest the illegalities that he claims robbed him of the mayor's office in the March 4 Astrakhan election. Today, that hunger strike is entering its fourth week, with rumors flying that participants' lives are in danger.

What is it about Shein's case that has so galvanized the Russian opposition?

One strength appears to be a firm grasp of electoral law, which Shein and a large network of local bloggers have demonstrated in a growing online archive of documented fraud, hosted on individual LiveJournal accounts. That archive is also painstakingly specific about the laws being violated, focusing primarily on Russian Federal Law 67 (67-FZ), which protects citizens' basic rights in public referendums. Shein and his supporters have published studies of individual voting stations, highlighting how the required procedures laid out in Article 68 of 67-FZ were routinely violated - procedures such as proper access for observers and their right to examine ballots.

If Shein is able to demonstrate that observers were illegally impeded in more than 25% of Astrakhan's voting precincts (51 out of 203), the law would empower a court or the Central Elections Commission to cancel the March 4 result and issue a fresh election. Shein claims that more than 120 voting stations experienced fraud, but - to prove it - his campaign needs the video footage recorded by the state's armada of webcams. While the Central Elections Committee has reviewed [ru] a random selection of the Astrakhan webcam archives and acknowledged 17 independent cases of fraud (disqualifying the results of 17 separate voting stations), the authorities have refused to grant Shein's team access to the full video archives, effectively preventing any conclusive documentation of the 25% fraud claim.

A prolific blogger himself, Shein has also benefited from a digital outreach campaign that owes much to the efforts of several Astrakhan LiveJournal users, notably Aleksandr Cheldyshev, Sergei Kozhanov, and user escoman. These individuals have compiled data from individual polling stations, culling information from the media, YouTube, and each other. Cheldyshev has collected video footage and signed affidavits from observers corroborating fraud in 23 different voting stations. The list is still growing. Escoman's archive is the most impressive, combining station-specific reports from Kozhanov and others, analyses of Astrakhan's election irregularities and electoral patterns, as well as profiles about specific commission figures and an expanding index of information about Shein's hunger strike. Escoman's work was even acknowledged by Masha Gessen in a New York Times' Latitude blog piece [en], published on April 9.

Shein's supporters have also had extraordinary success in captivating nationally prominent Russian bloggers. For instance, Cheldyshev caught the attention of Vladislav Naganov (one of Navalny's favorite bloggers) with a post about Voting Station 426, where Shein's opponent, Mikhail Stoliarov, received his fourth highest turnout. There, observers were seated without a view of the counting process, which was carried out with several fundamental violations of Article 68 of 67-FZ. Writing about Station 469 (where commission officials falsified the vote tally by reversing the totals for Stoliarov and Shein), two other Astrakhan LiveJournal users, Aleksandr Darianov and Evgeniia Zarinsh, inspired the following angry declaration [ru] from Naganov:

If this voting station chairperson believes she can escape a prison sentence of as many as four years for violating Article 142.1 of the Criminal Code [falsification of election results], then we guarantee this: the very instant that power changes hands in this country, we will endeavor to do everything to ensure that she sits in jail for just that long, and not a day less. And if Oleg Shein dies from his hunger strike (which he had to undertake in part because of [the chairperson's] criminal actions), her prison term will be even longer.

In the past few days, Shein's cause made its latest resurgence in the headlines, when "Fair Aid" founder Elizaveta Glinka and anti-narcotics activist Evgeny Roizman posted comments to their LiveJournal accounts suggesting that imminent deaths were likely in the Astrakhan hunger strike. Despite some initial confusion (wherein Shein seemed to refute Glinka's diagnosis as "total nonsense" in an interview [ru] with RIA Novosti), the three are friends again, after Shein issued a clarification [ru] on his own blog, denying that he had ever criticized Glinka. In a particularly electric development, Navalny himself set out for Astrakhan to meet with Shein on April 9, writing in his blog:

I am going to Astrakhan today personally. I call on you to do the same. This is about an elementary solidarity that we can demonstrate here. Otherwise, what good are all the times we said 'One for all and all for one'?

In that post, Navalny shared links to LiveJournal user kesh0705, who published the schedule, cost, and seat availability of train tickets between Moscow and Astrakhan, departing on April 9 and 10. Navalny also publicized Facebook and VKontakte social groups in support of traveling to Astrakhan to aid Oleg Shein. The Facebook group (true to the site's more elite status in Russia) can be joined only by invitation, and currently includes several stars of the liberal democratic movement, including Ilya Yashin, Oleg Kashin, Ilya Klishin, Ilya Barabanov, Ilya Azar, Oleg Kozlovsky, Evgenia Chirikova, and Tatiana Felgengauer.

It's 100% spring!!!

Tonight I don't just sit in front of my notebook. I'm cheking the outside temperature changes during the night time. For the moment it is 2:00 a.m. in Astrakhan, Russia and the outside temperature right now is 4 C (40 F) and there's only a low probability that it will fall beow 0C (32F).

Plus, the forecast for the next few days is better than the best)) The average day temperature for the week to come is about +17C (62 F). So if this night passes by without water freezing, it means that I can go on the construction of the concrete floor for the summer sunshade in my attic. The probl
em is the concrete solidification, it must be completed in temperatures above zero.

That's why this night is a checkpoint))

Hey, Romney, cut in your brain!!!

OK, the whole world has heard the offensive statements of the ex-governor of Massachusetts, U.S. presidential candidate, Mitt Romney on Russia.

"Russia is an unfriendly figure on the world stage. The fact that the president is seeking greater flexibility in relations with Russia despite the fact that he had nothing to say to the American people about the relationship with Russia - what is a very disturbing sign. I am very, very concerned about this. This - Russia is, without question, our geopolitical enemy number one" - these are the spiteful remarks by the Republican candidate, quoted by the news agency .

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev during his press conference in Seoul, said that this to the candidate Romney. I quote word for word from our President:

"The fact that concerns the various ideological cliches. You know, I'm always worried when a party uses the design of the "enemy number one" and so on. It smells very Hollywood and certain times. So I would recommend to all the candidates for the post of the President of the United States, not excepting the one of whom you said, at least two things. First, the formulation of positions have still to include the arguments of reason, use your head, it's a presidential candidate. And second, it is now 2012, not mid-1970s - and Romney must take into account the current realities. Only then can he expect to win. (Http://президент.рф/новости/14859)

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the leader and the head of the LDPR fraction in response to angry statements by Romney, saya that Romney is not in friends with elementary comon "reason":

"It is a profound mistake for the Republican candidate Romney to say that Russia is an enemy for them. These are remains of the Cold War. Russia removed her troops from all areas, even those who for centuries were part of Russia. I mean, Georgia, the Baltic States, etc. And America, by contrast, over the past 67 years has occupied 150 countries! So who is an enemy to mankind? And America continues to bomb, to piss on dead humans as that trooper did in Afghanistan , to burn the Koran, etc. That is, If there is a threat to peace, it is only from the United States. But Russia never has her soldiers in foreign countries, threatens no one. And we do not endorse any of the worst or the best mode, and we are against violence against those countries. Remember, it was U.S. who toppled Saddam Hussein.

So, how many people die there? Thousands and hundreds of thousands for over 10 years. The same is true of Afghanistan, Libya, Syria. Where the United States are, there are barbarism and violence. Where Russia is, there are diplomacy and negotiations. Previously, one could never consider Russia an enemy of the United States, ever. We were allies. We saved the U.S. from the British aggression 150 years ago. We were allies in World War I, during World War II. Therefore, we cannot be considered enemies. This is a misleading, tricky campaign. Mitt Romney is wrong, so he'll lose the election on November 6 this year.
He will not be president of the United States. "

The political outlook of Vladimir Zhirinovsky is expensive, because his predictions almost always come true!

It should be noted that even the official White House was embarrassed because of this political snapper Romney. A spokesman for the White House, Jay Carney called the statement an excited Mitt Romney "somewhat flawed".

In the end it only remains to wish that candidates start to make friends with their heads, and say: Hey, Romney, has cut in your brain! Do not scold Russia!

Angelina Jolie's Epic Failure

I think that one day I wrote about the so-called actress Angelina Jolie, who has finally decided to become a so-called movie director. Her first movie was "In the Land of Blood and Honey" about the war in the ex-Yugoslavia. There is a popular superstition that the first step is always the hardest
. So Angelina Jolie's first step into the movie director lane was nothing but a big piece of hard concrete. Miss the Hollywood Lips does not penetrate with her mind the meaning of the Balkan wars, but she has decided to make a film about it!

Fantastic incompetence of the impudence!!!

As a result, two weeks after the launch of her movie in Serbia, there were only 660 spectators. And more than that, only a small part of them did not leave the art theatre before the end of the movie. As they say, render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto the God the things that are God's.

Dear Angelina, if you are given a chance to jump half-naked and crazily with the guns in some cheap action B-movies, then jump out there. In general, do you even mind your children? Turn to them. Take care for them. Because they, I think, are horribly tired of looking at the posters of Jolie in the house.

Behold the Stars

This March the skies are full of natural beauty!

On March 14, Venus will be in conjunction with Jupiter, the two brightest planets in the sky, and even now there are already side by side (after sunset, look up of the West point on the horizon) You can see them right now, looking very nice, if it is dusk at your location.

Mars is very well walking across the sky all night long! It shines with its reddish color. Look for it in the constellation of Leo, right under his head (look up on the pole star, there go the pointing two stars of Ursa Major pointing at it, and through the zenith to the south, the distance between the pointing stars should be deferred six times through the zenith to the south)

But the evenings of March, 25, 26, and 27 will be the most colorful evenings of the month. The waxing crescent Moon will be near Venus and Jupiter, and near the Pleiades and Hyades. What a picture will it be!!!

And then, on March 30 the Moon will come into the constellation of Orion.

The skies are always nice. Even though the frosty weather.

Raise your head from the grim reality up to the skies.

Stare at the stars. This helps all of us to dream.

It's -34C in Astrakhan

I mean it!!! It's some sort of a temperature record here, in Astrakhan, Russia! -34C means -29F!!! It has never happened before! It was -33C on the 2nd of February in 1956, a long time ago. And now, here we go, we have a new winter minimum temperature record!!! It seems like something of the "The day after tomorrow" movie, shit! Where are all those bastards telling us their lies about so-called Global Warming? Burn them to get some heat!!)) Here's a yesterday photo of my daughter playing with icicles in the atrium Watch in a better resolution here
